About Me
I'm Ryan Pedde, a freshman at Durham School of the Arts. I have played video games before, but recently I have been interested in making my own game because I like the feeling of being in control of what happens to the story line and characters. I first started coding on my calculator in ti-basic because I was getting bored in math class and I ended up being able to make simple games. I later moved on to scratch and python, so that I could do a little bit more with graphics and animation for about a year. I have also taken camps in animation and environmental art. I have wanted to learn more about programming, because even though it's difficult, the result in the end feels great. I have been learning about 3D modeling, and this has probably been my favorite unit so far in the year. I'm excited to make more landscapes in 3DS Max, which we have recently started to do in class; Making a simple terrain with rocks, flowers, and mushrooms.
